Who We Are

A network built on shared knowledge, not silos.

Machine Intelligence Research Labs, Gwalior (MIR Labs) is run under MIR Labs Society, which is a non-profit scientific society of eminent scholars engaged in engineering and technology. It is aimed at fostering knowledge to the mass based on various innovations and know-how of experts associated with the society network — including research and development center heads, faculty, research scientists, engineers, scholars, experienced software developers, managers, engineers, and university postgraduate and undergraduate engineering and technology students.

MIR Labs encourages regional and international collaboration, and promotes interaction for enhancing the learning mechanism to foster knowledge sharing and dissemination of information to society. It recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations, and encourages scholar researchers to pursue studies and careers.

Contributions & membership. MIR Labs accepts donations of equipment and learning material from anyone, and monetary donations from Indian nationals as per law, through bank transfer only. The membership fee is specifically available on the website.

MIR Labs Society is registered under the Society Act and operates under not-for-profit society rules. It was registered on 29th January 2010, and elections for office bearers are held every three years as per law. Its composition includes academicians, social workers, and industry persons — with specific membership rules for its volunteers, who run the society without any financial compensation.
